A lovely day

My youngest grandson, Matthew, is eighteen today! And he’s enjoying every minute of it even though he’s been working all day. He’s promised not to get too inebriated tonight as he’s got work in the morning. He’s going to save himself for tomorrow night – he doesn’t work on Wednesdays.

My daughter, Debbie, and her partner, Leslie, have finally moved into their new home. It’s been rather a traumatic time for them, let’s hope they can settle now.

A little information for you, which will of course absolutely astound you.

My Matthew shares his birthday with the Roman emperor Constantine the Great (born 272, died 337). I bet you didn’t know that! It was also on this day in 1964 that Italy asks for help to stop the Leaning Tower of Pisa from falling over. And Lilian Gish, american actress dies in her hundredth year 1993.

Well, I have to write about something.

  1. Can I just say what a relief to find someone who actually knows what they are talking about on the internet. You definitely know how to bring an issue to light and make it important. More people need to read this and understand this side of the story. I cant believe youre not more popular because you definitely have the gift.
